Anna Peplowski (born September 25, 2002) is an American competitive swimmer.

Early life
editPeplowski attended Metamora Township High School in Metamora, Illinois northeast of Peoria, Illinois. She attends Indiana University and started swimming for the Indiana Hoosiers during her freshman season in 2021–22. Her older sister Noelle also swam for the Hoosiers.[1][2]
Career

editAt the 2022 U.S. Championships in Irvine, California in July, Peplowski competed in the 200m freestyle, 100 m backstroke, and 200m backstroke. She finished seventh in all three events.[3]
2023
editPeplowski competed at the 2023 U.S. Championships in Indianapolis held in June and July. She finished seventh in the 200m freestyle.[3] Later in July, Peplowski competed at the 2023 World Championships in Doha, Qatar. She swam in the heats of the 4×200m freestyle relay, and the U.S. finished second in the final, earning her a silver medal.[1]
2024
editAt the 2024 NCAA Championships in Athens, Georgia in March, Peplowski won the silver medal in the 200 yards freestyle and the bronze medal in the 500 yards freestyle.[1] She competed at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in June. She finished fifth in the 200m freestyle and sixth in the 400m freestyle.[3]
