Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip is an upcoming American comedy film, directed by Marvin Lemus from a screenplay written by Matt Lopez. It is a reboot of the 2014 film of the same name, which is based on the book of the same name by Judith Viorst. It stars Thom Nemer. It will be released exclusively on Disney+.

In December 2020, a reboot of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day was announced to be in early development for Disney+, with Matt Lopez writing the script. The new version would follow a similar plot, but would instead focus on a "multigenerational Latinx family". 21 Laps Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company are also set to return.[1] On October 4, 2022, Marvin Lemus was tapped as the director, with Eva Longoria and George Lopez cast in the leading roles.[2] In February 2023, Jesse Garcia joined the cast.[3] In March, Thom Nemer was cast in the lead role as Alexander Cooper.[4] The same month, Paulina Chávez and Rose Portillo joined the cast.[5] In April, George Lopez departed the cast due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Cheech Marin.[6][7] The same month, Cristo Fernández and Harvey Guillén joined the cast.[8][9]
Production was scheduled to start in spring 2023 in New Mexico,[2] with it being underway in April of that year.[8][9] By March 2024, the film's titled was changed to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip.[10]
