Alexandra Coffey is an American sportswriter for The Philadelphia Inquirer who is currently the beat reporter for the Philadelphia Phillies. She previously worked for The Athletic as the beat reporter for the Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Storm.[1]

She was born in New York City and grew up in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Her father is sportswriter Wayne Coffey, formerly of the New York Daily News.[2] Her sister is professional soccer player Sam Coffey.[3]
