Professional careerEdit

On February 19, 2007, the Carolina Panthers cut Wallace.[1] He has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills. Al Wallace, along with fellow Maryland alum Kris Jenkins, Mike Rucker, Julius Peppers and Brentson Buckner formed a very formidable defensive line from 2002 to 2006, which many experts considered to be among the best during that time span. The tandem had several game winning blocked FG's or sacks. Wallace retired in 2006 with 23 career sacks and 4 interceptions.
