Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh

Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh (Bengali: আল-হাইআতুল উলয়া লিল-জামিয়াতিল কওমিয়া বাংলাদেশ) is the Govt recognized combined Qawmi Madrasa Education Board of Bangladesh having the authority to arrange central examination and to issue certitificate.[1][2][3] It consists of six Qawmi Madrsa Education Boards. These are: Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh, Befaqul Madarisil Qawmia Gauhordanga, Ittehadul Madarisil Qawmia Chittagong, Azad Deeni Edara Board Sylhet, Tanjeemul Madarisi

BackgroundEdit

On 11 April 2017 evening, in the presence of Qawmi Scholars and on the basis of the principles of Darul Uloom Deoband, the honorable PM declared the highest degree of Qawmi Madrasa Dawra-e Hadith equivalent to master's degree (Islamic Studies and Arabic). On 13 April 2017, by the President's order, assistant secretary (SB-1) Mr. Abdus Sattar Mia issued a notification on this. In section two of this notification, the authority recognizes the Standard Assuring Committee of Certificate formed by the six Qawmi Madrasa Education Board and proposes a complete committee outline. This committee has established Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh to take the examination of Dawra-e Hadith.[4][5]

Objectives and functionsEdit

The Haiatul Ulya was founded to assure a standardized curriculum and to provide centralized examination for all of the institutions under six Qawmi Madrsa Education Board and hence to be able to get Govt recognition.[6] The main functions of the federation are: creation of syllabus, checking standard of education, arrangement of examination and issuance of degrees[7][8][9]
