Abadan Rural District (Persian: دهستان آبادان) is in Damen District of Iranshahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Abadan,[3] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 2,763 people in 676 households.[2]

After the census, Damen Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Damen District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]
