Aalakaalam (transl. Era) is 2024 Indian Tamil-language Social drama film written and directed by Jaya Krishnamoorthy. The film stars Easwari Rao and Jaya Krishnamoorthy .The film was produced by Jaya Krishnamoorthy under the banner of Shree Jai Productions.

Manigandan KR of Times Now rated 2.5 out of 5 star and noted that "The film has a powerful message to deliver but it is completely devoid of entertainment"[3].Maalai Malar critic wrote that "Ishwari Rao's performance as the hero's mother is a major strength of the film. The climax scene is dazzling."[4].Virakesari critic noted that "Appreciate the director for setting the climax scene differently. In that scene, Ishwari Rao gives her performance and captivates the hearts of the fans."[5]
