Track changesEdit

Two chicanes were introduced along the Mulsanne Straight prior to the race. This was done to reduce the maximum speed of the cars after the Sauber C9 of Kenny Acheson reached 400 km/h (249 mph) the previous year.[1][2]

RaceEdit

With Sauber not returning for 1990, Jaguar took on Nissan and Porsche. The #3 Jaguar (now running an XJR-12) walked away with the trophy, after the Nissans and the #1 Jaguar broke down. After electrical problems with his own car, Martin Brundle replaced Eliseo Salazar in the Jaguar #3 car en route to victory.

Official resultsEdit
