The Șar ( Hungarian: Sár-patak ) is a right tributary of the river Mureș in Romania.[1] It discharges into the Mureș in Glodeni. Its name originates from the Hungarian "sár" meaning “mud”, so the Hungarian name means “Muddy Creek”.
