Thank you for uploading File:Meisterstadt 5-2019.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Altered speedy deletion rationale: File:Meisterstadt 5-2019.jpg

Hello Samuelsp15, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted File:Meisterstadt 5-2019.jpg, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:24, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Barelang Bridge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Industrial zone (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Batam City Condominium

Hello Samuelsp15,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Batam City Condominium for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, Samuelsp15,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Pollux Habibie Financial Center & International Hotel, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@Onel5969: Hello there! I am sorry about that. You know, I am new here. I just want you to know that this building and the whole project is quite notable, especially in South East Asia region. You can find a lot of sources about the project, though most of them only said "the highest one" or "100 floors" for this building.
I also have just read the rules and I want to ask you a question. Actually, the groundbreaking of this building was around late 2016 (see Meisterstadt), but the construction of this building hasn't started yet. So, do you have any recomendation for that? I put "proposed" because I still don't know what can I deal with that. Therefore, I just cited the most reliable source, The Skyscraper Center. Thank you!
Samuelsp15 (talk) 11:03, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi Samuelsp15. First of all, no need to apologize. You're doing fine. You've created short articles on buildings and a list article which are well-structured and well-formatted. And you've created a few redirects which show you have a grasp of that as well. Now, regarding this article. Yeah, there's a lot of buzz out there, but it all appears to be more of the simple mention sort. Take a look at WP:NBUILD, particularly the second point. If there are several in-depth newspaper or magazine articles about this specific building, you could incorporate them into the article, that would meet the notability criteria. And remember that notability is not temporary, so if the articles are from different timeframes (say 2015 and 2018), that would show that the site is still in the news. Hope this helps and keep up the good work.Onel5969 TT me 14:00, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Whittard Canyon

Hello, Samuelsp15,

Thanks for creating Whittard Canyon! I edit here too, under the username Highway 89 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

While this page probably needs more sources, they do appear to exist as this canyon has been extensively covered in various scientific publications.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Highway 89}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

@Highway 89: Hi! Thanks for your notice. I just want to ask you a question. Am I need to added citations on existing statements; expand the article with sources; or both (maybe else)? I've also got one statistics, here. Thank you! Samuelsp15 (talk) 14:57, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Samuelsp15: The existing statements are just fine. It would be nice if the article had more information with sources to back it up, but any improvements you want to make to the article would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! Highway 89 (talk) 17:57, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Atterbury House.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Atterbury House.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 02:44, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
