Images: originals? copies? edit

Hello - and sorry for the silly question, but I've just stumbled on the following database, which seemingly has 900+ images of historical figures: [1] My question is, before I clutter the place up with lots of fakes - are these the original paintings or copies? They mostly look like the originals to me: eg in this image, has a copiest gone to extraordinary lengths? The entry includes【模写年月日】1929(昭和4年歳晩)- does that refer to an invisible copy? What about that of 東山天皇 (haven't figured out how to link to individual entries) compared with that on Commons? Two different paintings of the same emperor at Sennyuji? For what it's worth this source seems to think it's reproductions. This is what the database has to say: ThanksMaculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 01:00, 10 August 2019 (UTC) PS this is an interesting pairing: 小早川隆景画像 in the database (upper of the two hits) compared with [2] on the municipality website; possibly some conservation treatment, but one looks like it's on silk the other on paper...
