Zarrineh Rud Rural District (Miandoab County)
Zarrineh Rud Rural District (Persian: دهستان زرينه رود)[3] is in Baktash District of Miandoab County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Satelmish-e Mohammadlu,[4] transferred from Bagtash.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 15,077 in 3,575 households.[6] There were 17,689 inhabitants in 4,983 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 17,756 in 5,426 households. The most populous of its 22 villages was Bagtash (now a city), with 3,523 people.[2]
In May 2020, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Baktash District, which was divided into two rural districts.[4]
