Zahra (Arabic: زهراء)is an Islamic female given name of Arabic origin. It means ‘beautiful, bright, shining and brilliant’. The name became popularized as a result of being the name of the Islamic prophet Muhammad’s daughter, Fatimah al-Zahra.[1]
