Workin' Moms is a Canadian television sitcom whose second season premiered on CBC Television on December 19, 2017.[1] The show stars Catherine Reitman, Dani Kind, and Juno Rinaldi, with Jessalyn Wanlim being demoted to recurring status from season one.[2] as a group of friends dealing with the challenges of being working mothers.[3] The series is produced by Wolf + Rabbit Entertainment, the production company of Reitman and her husband, Philip Sternberg.[2]

Frankie is offered a job at the ladies’ wellness center she is attending, though she is also reprimanded for having sex with numerous patients. Kate receives an upsetting phone call from Eleanor and Sarah, who informs Kate that her father has died.

Following Lionel’s vasectomy, Anne and Lionel begin an intense sexual relationship. Frankie quits her new job after a patient’s suicide attempt.

Richard arranges a meeting with Baseline and discovers that Kate has secretly been working for the company. Upon this revelation, Kate gets fired by both Gaze and Baseline. Anne expresses concerns when Alice has her first boyfriend, and she hides a camera in Alice’s room. Alice discovers the camera and records a fake hostage video with her boyfriend intended to shock Anne.

Fired by Gaze and Baseline, a depressed Kate spends her day watching TV and taking care of Charlie. She ends up spending the day with Alice, and helps assist Alice when she experiences her first period. Meanwhile, Brad manipulates Anne into guest-lecturing at the university, knowing Anne has a fear of public speaking. To Brad’s surprise, Anne goes through with the lecture, which is successful. Kate and Anne make up. Frankie becomes self-sufficient, and she decides to move out of Dorothy’s home.

Kate meets with Richard, who acknowledges that Victoria’s ultimatum was unfair and suggests Kate reach a settlement for gender discrimination. Ian’s meeting with a movie studio producer is interrupted when Jenny is reported to the police for leaving Zoe in a car. Jenny expresses her mixed feelings about being a mother to Ian, and suggests he get full custody of their daughter.

Kate goes to her doctor after experiencing night sweats; the doctor finds a small lump in her armpit. Though Kate initially fears she has cancer, Kate discovers she is going through perimenopause. Frankie returns to her job as a real estate agent. Anne becomes concerned when Carly begins taking Brad’s hypnotherapy sessions, and she reveals Brad’s predatory behavior to Lionel. Anne decides to take on Brad’s predatory behavior by creating a community event for women who were hypnotized by Brad.

At her community event, Anne meets with two of Brad’s students, who claim they were sexually harassed by Brad. The three women report Brad’s behavior to the dean; Brad is subsequently fired from his job and reported to the Medical Counsel. Kate gets her business up and running. Ian’s relationship with Sonia becomes complicated when Sonia, who has mixed feelings about children, reveals she feels uncomfortable being around Zoe. Frankie moves into her new home and meets her neighbor, Bianca.

Anne and Lionel plan a commitment ceremony and invite numerous family members and friends, including Kate, Frankie, Ian, Val and Alicia. Ian and Sonia rekindle their relationship, and Ian takes Sonia to the ceremony as his date; Sonia starts to bond with Zoe, which pleases Ian. At the ceremony, Anne is pleased to find her mother, Jane, in attendance. Kate considers having another child, but she is horrified to discover that Nathan is pursuing an affair with Anne’s nanny. Returning from the ceremony, Kate discovers that she’s likely to be pregnant.

On Rotten Tomatoes, season 2 has an approval rating of 91% based on reviews from 34 critics.[4] Which was a 14% increase from season 1.
