Clarity of the page edit
I have three questions:
- Can someone help me out here? Where do we sign up for the Fair? I know it says further down in the page that we can sign up on the main meetup.com page, but what's that about? What happened to just signing up on the Wikipedia page? Meetup.com says you have to be a member to post there.
- And what are these Pavilions?

There are no sandy beaches on the island and to get to the parade ground you walk south, inland from the ferry and it is not by the water. [1] As for the rest I intend to show up and find out. Jim.henderson (talk) 23:24, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Excessive heat on Saturday edit
Just wanted to do a heads-up on the fact that Saturday's high will be 100º F and a heat index of 104. If you are coming, please remember to bring extra water, fans, umbrellas or any other device that creates shade, and be aware of the symptoms of heat exhaustion.
The "Pavilions" are ad hoc structures constructed by participants on site from bamboo canes, as shown here. You can also sign up on that page.
