Oh boy, the simplest goal yet! edit

I apologize for the sarcasm in the header, but that was the most humourous way I could think of to say it on such short notice. To be serious about the matter, it is stated that our goal for the month is to bring the backlog down to 19,500 articles, yet there are currently 19,513 articles tagged. Oughtn't we to move the intended goal down about a thousand or so? Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 00:52, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not to worry, I solved the problem. The track page was what stated that our goal was 19,500; everything else said 18,500. To be brief, it all says "18,500" now. :) Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 01:50, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! (19,500 was last drive's :) benzband (talk) 07:49, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tagging for speedy deletion as copyvio edit

Per this, I would like to make a comment. I believe I was once told that if you add delete a page you shouldn't count it; however, I think we should specifically count CSD's as copyvio. Discovering copyvio is an aspect of Wikification. Ryan Vesey 03:27, 6 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I would check redlinks in the event they might be typos. If they are, search for the right page, check the edit history, and correct the link on the log page. If not, the page was probably deleted, in which case (if they were deleted after the drive started) i would suggest counting them as it's not the wikifier's fault if the page gets deleted. Even better, if someone here is an administrator then they can view the history. benzband (talk) 10:18, 6 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
