Ideas for this issue edit

Hi Jts1882 do you have any interest in being interviewed for this month's newsletter? I'm particularly interested in the work you do creating cladograms, including the cladogram requests. I'm not sure many editors are even aware this exists! Let me know what you think. Enwebb (talk) 02:30, 10 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm willing to give it a go. I should add I do read the newsletters, even though I'm not subscribed, but I have a number of subscribers on my watchlist. —  Jts1882 | talk  15:41, 10 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Jts1882, no hard feelings :) I'll ping you in the next couple days once I've finished up with the questions. Enwebb (talk) 16:49, 17 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Drafts edit

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 edit

I realise there already are two stories for this issue, but an idea for maybe next month is to chat with Another Believer about WikiProject COVID-19. It’s the first ToL wp about a taxon at species level or lower (next closest are WikiProject AIDS, an infrageneric grade, and WikiProject Cannabis, a genus). I think they may be featured in the Signpost soon too. --awkwafaba (📥) 15:02, 18 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Awkwafaba, the FA/GA comparison thing is fairly evergreen--it could really go anywhere and doesn't have to be this month. If you want to start up another draft and interview Another Believer about the new WikiProject, that sounds like a good idea to me! Enwebb (talk) 16:04, 18 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Feel free to reach out on my user talk page or via email. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:45, 18 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Another Believer: I posted some questions for you on your talk page. --awkwafaba (📥) 19:26, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Awkwafaba,   Done ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:38, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Another Believer: I'm planning on sending this out today if you wanted to look it over one more time and make sure everything's right. Enwebb (talk) 15:57, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Enwebb, Works for me! Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:02, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Could you maybe also share this at WikiProject COVID-19 and the parent/related projects mentioned here (Disaster management, Medicine, Viruses)? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:04, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:51, 3 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh! I noticed the question numbering restarts if you want to fix. And Awkwafaba's name appears twice at the end? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:57, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Looks great. Only thing i noticed is WPDisasterManagement isn’t on the chart, but not super huge. --awkwafaba (📥) 18:20, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

GA Backlog Drive edit

Seems like this newsletter would be a good place to mention and link to the signups for the GA review backlog drive from April to May. starsandwhales (talk) 19:19, 31 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Starsandwhales thanks for the idea, added. Enwebb (talk) 15:57, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
