Lists

I have planned on creating List of people who walked on the Moon, split off from List of Apollo astronauts. That would give us one of our two lists. I think the other list could be List of missions to the Moon. This gives us a list specific to the event, and another more international list. Thoughts? Kees08 (Talk) 04:28, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

If it were me, I would just raise List of Apollo astronauts to FL. Easier project in my opinion. We have limited time.--- Coffeeandcrumbs 05:19, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Since I am stubborn and overconfident, I started a draft for people who have walked on the Moon. Once the table is cleaned up, I can write an intro paragraph (include the first and last things said on the Moon for example). and other things like first to drive on the Moon. Hopefully could finish it out by the end of the month. I will start citing it with book citations probably this weekend. Kees08 (Talk) 07:03, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Progress

Aldrin's article passed GAN and is at A-class review in the MILHIST project. Apollo 11 is also up for A-class right now. Collins passed GA recently and will be nominated for A-class when I have time. Armstrong is officially a featured article, though there are a couple things I still want to improve on it. I have not started to work on any of the DYK or OTD articles yet, and only have a little work done on the list I noted above (in my userspace currently). Another update; Apollo 11 is now a FA, Aldrin and Collins are both at FAC, and I am working on getting List of people who have walked on the Moon ready for FLC (maybe a week or two?). Sputnik 1 was one of our DYK targets and is currently going through the nomination process after it was made a GA. Once I get the FLC submitted, I will begin working on the DYK articles. Yes, I have the Scott/Leonov book. Deke Slayton's memoirs also discusses his interactions with the Russians on Apollo-Soyuz. I don't have much more than that on the Russian program.--Wehwalt (talk) 23:41, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Featured List

@DannyS712: sorry, I only now noticed this post. Absolutely, that would be great. I am not sure if there is enough time but we can certainly get that posted.
