Ginger Baker drum solo

edit

Replying to user My76Strat: Thank you so much for providing me with the reference to the "Ginger Baker collapse" entry. I have been researching this event, in hopes of discovering which song Cream played (at this appearance) that contained the 20-minute drum solo leading to Baker's collapse & subsequent hospitalization. Given the timing of the performance, my first guess would be Toad which was recorded between July and October 1966, and appeared on Fresh Cream, released December 1966. Note: I've never posted on a 'talk' page before. If I have put my response to you in the wrong place, or made any other errors with my comment, would you please let me know? I mainly wanted to thank you for the item reference. Secondarily, I thought perhaps if I put the 'which song' question out there, perhaps someone might have the answer. Thank you again, My76Strat. --24.67.149.21 (talk) 12:00, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

It is fine that you posted your comment here, perhaps even best, as it will stay closely associated with the content you are referring to. You apparently have a keen sense regarding this band, as your inclination is correct. The 20 minute solo was during the song "Toad". [1] I am pleased knowing that you were moved to share your knowledge. Feel free to inquire anytime you have a curious question and even more-so, to correct wherever you see a misstated fact. I appreciate your kind sentiments and for me, they are the highlight of this wiki-day, Thank you - 76Strat String da Broke da (talk) 12:39, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Another thank you, sir; this time for answering my song question, and also providing the reference link. Today has been a great wiki-experience for me, too! Best regards --24.67.149.21 (talk) 13:34, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
