The article Joel Montalvo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:POLITICIAN and WP:GNG. This aide to the governor of Puerto Rico doesn't have any persuasive claims to notability on his own, apart from a student award. This article largely enumerates the achievements of the governor without explaining the subject's contributions. I can't find any substantial coverage of the subject in independent sources.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Fiesta Medina
Fellow Boricaus! I attended a Puerto Rican fest known as "Festival Medina". The singers included Edjar Joel (whom I'm really like), Frankie Negron (didn't really like), Grupo Mania (fantastic), and best of all El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.I even got a photo with me and Jerry Rivas from El Gran Combo! I'm happy say that I've took pictures of them so I'll be added them to their articles. This event truly made me proud of my Puerto Rican heritage! Magiciandude (talk) 03:12, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Template:PD-PRGov-IPC
With this edit I removed {{PD-PRGov-IPC}}. The Wikimedia Foundation's attorney determined that non-payment does not indicate public domain; so the template's usability is disputed. —teb728 t c 09:47, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
