Prospective Parliamentary Candidates edit

Does anyone think PPCs deserve pages. I would usualy say no due to their lack of notability but one problem with this policy is that at the next general election a lot of these are going to be elected and it seems sensible to create pages now rather than wait until after an election and finding we have over 100 MPs without articles PiTalk - Contribs 16:28, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The key to notability is the existence of independent sources. If there are enough independent sources to satisfy WP:BLP then there is an argument to create an article. I would suggest we should avoid doing so though. I suspect that the party activists for the elected representative will put in a large portion of the effort in producing an article, we just need to regulate them so that the style is consistent and relevant sources are used. RfC regarding Jeremy Corbyn and antisemitism edit

There is currently a discussion regarding whether a letter from a number of Orthodox Rabbis should be included in the “Allegations of antisemitism and responses” section of the Jeremy Corbyn page. Arguments for and against are in the “Letter from Orthodox Rabbis is Valid” section of the talk page. Please view and vote if this interests you.
