Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history/News/October 2011/Book reviews

I have to congratulate Nick for reviewing three works from the same publisher. I hope that other authors model their use of Osprey off Nick's examples here. In particular they would benefit from modelling off Nick's approach which considers the quality and encyclopaedic value of works published by the same publisher, but with varying qualities of editorial direction, authorial capacity and graphical content. In particular I liked Nick's observations about the necessity of including material on the force opposing Western capitalist power's militaries. As the major English language presses publish for an audience interested in the military forces of English speaking capitalist powers, or at a more refined level, an audience that generally prefers parliamentary capitalist military forces; it is important that we remind ourselves as editors that the opposing forces ought to be adequately covered in military histories.
