I have not previously been involved in a WikiProject. Should we be adding to the project page links to specific entries that need improvement? I know, looking at the stubs is helpful, but is there a way to call attention to entries that are important? I mean, there are a lot of player stubs, but some are more notable and ought to be addressed first. --SVTCobra 23:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

I popped in an Open tasks section, I think it's a great idea to list important articles that are missing, or important stubs that need expanding. If there is a better idea please mention it or implement it.--Commander Keane 04:54, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

IBF to BWF and EBU to BE

IBF changed name to Badminton World Federation some time ago, and the European Badminton Union changed name to Badminton Europe. I moved both articles and corrected most links in the badminton article and the international badminton template, but I may have forgotten some links. If you see them, please correct them. At the moment they will redirect to the good article, but the name appearing in the link will be wrong. Gemertp 23:26, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Navigational Templates

I have looked at some of the pages that have the Navigational Templates of this project. Somehow, they don't seem to fit in. Perhaps User:Commander Keane could weigh in on this subject. See 2003 IBF World Championships for an example. All the references to other tournaments seem out of place here. One can quickly get there through the Categories.--SVTCobra 00:44, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

I tend to like the links in to other tournaments, they do help me navigate and hopefully people will use the tournament links to find something to work on. I also appreciate that they might not fit in.--Commander Keane 04:54, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Spanish Wikipedia

Hi, I'm from the Spanish Wikipedia. I'm sorry but my English is not quite good. In the Spanish Wikipedia there are some articles more expanded than here. If somebody can understand spanish, they could be usefull for you. However, there are some templates in common in both Wikipedias; I coppied the templates of draws in order to make easier the copy of some draws about championships, and i've also created new one's.

If you want, you can copy them. You'll only need to change the name of the templates. Some examples are 2001 IBF World Champs, Barcelona 92 ot the 2006 Spanish Open.

Perhaps we can agree to create more championships draws and take them from each other.

You have done some nice work there MonanNito. Aleenf1 is the tournament expert around here. --SVTCobra 00:35, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia Day Awards

Hello, all. It was initially my hope to try to have this done as part of Esperanza's proposal for an appreciation week to end on Wikipedia Day, January 15. However, several people have once again proposed the entirety of Esperanza for deletion, so that might not work. It was the intention of the Appreciation Week proposal to set aside a given time when the various individuals who have made significant, valuable contributions to the encyclopedia would be recognized and honored. I believe that, with some effort, this could still be done. My proposal is to, with luck, try to organize the various WikiProjects and other entities of wikipedia to take part in a larger celebrartion of its contributors to take place in January, probably beginning January 15, 2007. I have created yet another new subpage for myself (a weakness of mine, I'm afraid) at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week where I would greatly appreciate any indications from the members of this project as to whether and how they might be willing and/or able to assist in recognizing the contributions of our editors. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 19:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
