Certification help edit

I cannot find any certification/sales information for Winter in America, other than chart history at Billboard.com. Can someone help me on this. Dan56 (talk) 05:56, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The fact that any searches, especially on the RIAA site, probably indicate that any certifications took place were way before they posted them online, or the album has not had enough sales. I would kind of lean towards the latter one, since the article points out that it had "limited distribution". The only thing I can recommend is googling it, if you haven't already. Besides that, you may be SOL. -- Reaper X 16:57, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Incomplete and misleading information on RIAA website edit

On the certification criteria page there are criteria listed for different formats, including "Full-Length Album". One thing that is in the database, but not on the criteria page, is the "type": the four options are Standard, Latin, Digital and Mastertone. There is information about the Digital and Mastertone sales awards on the Digital Sales Award page, although no criteria are mentioned, and no information anywhere about the Latin award (RIAA certification mentions awards for Spanish-language albums, but refers to them as "Oro" and "Platino", and the external link doesn't work). The different types should be mentioned here, but I don't know what the criteria are. I assume the Latin Gold and Platinum have replaced Oro and Platino, but I can't find anything about it on the RIAA website – does anyone have any more information about these awards? snigbrook (talk) 14:04, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
