As one sample (of many), who gave this (whatever it is) permission to host photocopies of newspaper articles ? We should not link to copyvio; where's the copyright release?

  • "Luis Miguel rompe su propio récord vendió 400 mil copias en 10 días". El Siglo de Torreón (in Spanish). Editora de la Laguna. December 23, 1991. p. 15. {{cite news}}: Unknown parameter |trans_title= ignored (|trans-title= suggested) (help)

Where did you find the date and page no? And who is El Siglo de Torreon? This is all I come up with. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:03, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

@SandyGeorgia: All of El Siglo de Torreon's articles were accessed from their online archived search (which is found here). Clicking on an article gives the photocopy of the article. Erick (talk) 22:00, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Who is El Siglo de Torreon? Who gave them the rights to host photocopies of newspaper articles? And where did you get the date and page no? How do we know what newspaper (if any) printed the article originally? (You don't need to ping me; I've watchlisted.) SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:06, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Here's an article for the newspaper and this is the website, and the date and pg. number are listed on top of the page (it's in black text so you have to highlight) and it's also shown when you're searching for an article. Both El Siglo del Torreon and El Informador are listed at Wikipedia:List of online newspaper archives which is how I found articles for them. EDIT: Also, this is a Hemerotec.
