TFA blurb review edit

Apologies, I'm not going to have time to write this blurb ... any takers? Keep it between 925 and 1025 characters, please. - Dank (push to talk) 15:20, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Cardiff City Football Club is a professional association football club based in Cardiff, Wales. They entered the Southern Football League in 1910 before joining the English Football League in 1920. Since then, the club has spent 17 seasons in the top tier of English football, including nine seasons in the 1920s and the 2018–19 Premier League season. They are the only team from outside England to have won the FA Cup, in 1927. They also reached the FA Cup Final in 1925 and 2008, and the EFL Cup Final in 2012. They have won the Welsh Cup 22 times, making them the second most successful team in the competition's history behind Wrexham. Ninian Park was their home ground for 99 years, until they moved into the Cardiff City Stadium in 2009. They have long-standing rivalries with nearby clubs Swansea City, known as the South Wales derby, and Bristol City, known as the Severnside derby. The club's record goalscorer is Len Davies with 179 goals. (Full article...)

Any thoughts or edits? I'm not great with association football blurbs. Speaking of which ... I'm even worse with "history of X football club" blurbs ... could someone please have a look at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/May 26, 2019? - Dank (push to talk) 19:31, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
