This course is designed as a capstone experience. This seminar requires you to apply all of your knowledge, skills, and talents to individual and team assignments. It is designed to bridge your academic experiences with the opportunities and challenges that await you beyond your Bachelor’s degree. At its foundation is the need for multi-tasking, critical thought, self-reflection, and the ability to identify weaknesses and to build on strengths. This is where the effort that you have put into your education will reward you.
You should note that this course may be quite different from your previous experiences. You will be expected to take a great deal of the responsibility for planning your time, creating and meeting deadlines, and quality checking your work. My role will be as facilitator and mentor. I will not prompt you to meet deadlines nor will I micro-manage your projects or process. This course will challenge you to go beyond the evaluative nature of education to planning for your own future.
