Wikipedia talk:Database reports/Mistagged non-free files

Latest comment: 15 years ago by PhilKnight

Has anyone looked at this? From what I can see, most of them aren't mistagged here, but instead the commons file needs zapping. PhilKnight (talk) 23:30, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, here's the deal. If they're on Commons, they almost always shouldn't be local as well (there are a few exceptions). So, for example, with File:Rene-guenon-1925.jpg versus commons:File:Rene-guenon-1925.jpg. Either that image should be deleted locally as a dupe of the Commons version or it should be marked for deletion on Commons as non-free content.
