Isn't CU most often associated with CheckUser? Wouldn't it be better to redirect there and have a hatnote for other uses, similar to what we do with other common abbreviations that might have other meanings? czar 15:23, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Probably not, the vast majority of incoming links are intended for Wikipedia:Cleanup to which this redirected for many years. Hence, many older conversations, and subst'd templates won't make sense to the casual reader if we do that. Based on standard RfD analysis there's probably a better case for restoring the original redirect with a hatnote to the other possibilities.
