- Everyone else made it into a joke and in turn made me the joke of it. It started off as a legitimate RFA. I asked when i noticed it. I reviewed the candidate and voted accordingly. Others saw only the date and went stupid. Eventually the candidate conceded to the stupidity. Either that or it was a joke all along and i got outright lied to by the candidate. delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 00:28, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Given that Strat had just finished another RfA a couple of weeks, and said that it was a horrible experience he was in no hurry to repeat, and given that this one's nomination statement and answers to questions 1-3 were comically terse (a play on the criticism from his previous RfA, where his responses were very long), I figured he was having some fun with the RfA crowd. "He's poking some fun at himself and at the RfA process" seemed like a more plausible assumption than "he's running a completely serious second self-nominated RfA on April Fools Day less than a month after his first RfA closed." - I've been trying to figure that out. I assumed, quite reasonably I think, that responses like "It was a good question however" to a question like "Has anyone really been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like?" could not possibly be interpreted as anything other than dry humour. Unless they're just really oblivious or something? I have no idea. Dcoetzee 03:44, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
