Wikipedia:Wikimedia Nigeria UG/TIPSOM (WikiForHumanRights on Human Trafficking in Nigeria)
Background
editFrom time immemorial, Human trafficking has been a concern to Africa and Nigeria. A-TIPSOM, Action Against Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants, an EU funded Project intends to partner with the Wikimedia Nigeria User Group to train 40 Nigerian Wikimedians across all the four affiliates ( English, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa) in Nigeria on Human trafficking. The projects intend to organise a 2-day in-person training and edit-a-thon among the Wikimedia community members in Nigeria to bridge Human trafficking gaps on Wikipedia and its sister projects. The partner will fund the cost of Event hall, Accommodation, Flight, local travels and dinner of all Wikimedians participating in the event.
