The study of language shift, including local and global factors affecting language loss, endangerment, retention, and revival. Practical strategies for sustaining and reviving languages, including language documentation and revitalization.
Students will usually edit pages of minority and indigenous languages, as well as underrepresented scholars (Indigenous and Woman Academics, in particular)
