Star Fox 64 edit

Arguably the best game in the Star Fox series, its article is probably the best candidate in the series for a GA. I've rewritten the story section from a list of stages into prose, which was difficult since the game doesn't have just one set path but multiple ones. Any comments on the format would be greatly appreciated. Also, are any other sections lacking or needing references? And should the trivia section be done away with, or at least renamed to something more appropriate? Rob ert 13:00, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The paragraphs in the gameplay section are a little short, so you might merge a couple of them together. The Star Wolf sentence does seem pretty lonesome, but you can make it flow by leading in from the forced mission paragraph with something like "Many of the forced paths bring Star Fox into contact with the Star Wolf team, a nemesis squadron originally slated to appear in the unreleased Star Fox 2." Other than that, in the story section you might move the last paragraph before the routes up, since the comment about Arwings and paths sort of breaks the exposition of the plot. Those last notes in the story might look better bulleted. Lastly, one paragraph sections are sort of taboo, so you might find a way to skillfully integrate the world speed record and promotion notes into the main article. Yep, thanks. I've merged in the Star Wolf sentence using your suggestion, though the paragraphs in the gameplay section may still need to be connected a bit more. User-submitted trivia on Moby Games is about as lireable as Wikipedia: not much. Thus, any references should be removed. I do think that trivia ought to be removed or at least renamed and dispersed amongst the article - I favor creating a "Cultural references" header with all the ID4 and Star Wars refs underneath that section. I was surprised when I first read this page - with the reception table and # of refs, I was wondering if/when it would be up for FA staus. Keep up the good work! Yeah, I completely agree with you on the Mobygames point. I've removed those references, as well as some trivia that should really be in a game guide and not an encyclopedia article.
