Delta Force: Land Warrior edit

I feel this article is nearly complete and a peer review would be a good way to polish it and finish it off. Main issues are formatting and a few details. Others may find more to deal with. – Lunarbunny 20:41, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, to add on – I don't know if Wes Eckhart is correct and I do not know the engine. – Lunarbunny 20:43, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some things to keep in mind, some of which I have fixed:
  • If you don't know one of the info for the infobox, don't put a ? there, leave it blank and the template will take care of it.
  • The lead section does not have its own heading (you gave it a "summary" heading).
  • Do not write as if the reader was playing the game. This means:
    • Avoid use of "you" and "your"
    • Avoid comments as to how to play; comments like "The best idea is not to count on him" have no real relevence here. Phrases like "fire button must be held down" are right out.
  • The "Groups and organizations" section can be neatly turned into prose and put into the storyline/premise section.
  • The list of weapons does not seem to serve any particular purpose; I am generally opposed to such lists.
  • As with all articles, do some research and find some reliable sources that talk about the game; reviews, interviews, magazine and website features, etc, are all good places to find information about the game as a real-world entity; that is, of interest to people who are not playing it. Subjective statements (such as the "bad AI") need to be cited; find someone who said it, and point at their words.
That's all I can say at the moment. Hope that helps. Nifboy 07:47, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Still working on my style here, and a peer review is just what I need to see what to do differently. As for bad AI, I guess that comment currently falls under "original research" if I can't find a source...
The weapon list was created as I have seen multiple first-person shooter articles list every single weapon available to the player.
All in all, I just want to see what this looks like at the end. – Lunarbunny 00:15, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
