Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones/Assessment/Hurricane Nora (1997)
Archived discussion. Current status: {{FA-Class}}
I've been working on this article for a while now, and I've tried to address all the criticism at the assessment page. Any suggestions as to what to do to make this one A-Class? Titoxd(?!? - help us) 06:01, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- I dunno...I think it needs a lot more information. Some information on Preparations or Aftermath could help to balance the structure a little more. The Storm history is too long and should be shortened (it's probably overly detailed) or split into subsections. And of course impact pictures would be nice. — jdorje (talk) 06:22, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, and the intro should be extended...probably doubled in length to 2 paragraphs, with the second paragraph summarizing the impact. — jdorje (talk) 06:23, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've expanded the lead already. The problem with impact images is that most of them are not eligible to be uploaded to Wikipedia due to copyright restrictions, though. I'm looking at more preparation sources right now, mostly from Mexico. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 06:26, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I've tried making it longer now, but there's no more information out there, except about how Nora blew plankton halfway to Canada. Any ideas or thoughts? Titoxd(?!? - help us) 04:05, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's really good now. The only thing I can think of that it needs is a shorter storm history (no need for 7 paragraphs, 3-4 is fine) and aftermath, if any. Hurricanehink 11:40, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Nah, that's probably not necessary. However, I can't think of anything else that can be added for it to be to A class, so I vote yes for A class. Hurricanehink 12:10, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I upped it to A class. Good work with this article. Hurricanehink 20:43, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
