editThe railroad of Minkler Southern Railway Company, hereinafter called the Minkler Southern Railway, is a single-track line, located entirely within the State of California and extending from Minkler to Lindsay, a distance of 50.662 miles.
Introductory
editThe Minkler Southern Railway is a corporation of the State of California, having its principal office at Los Angeles, Calif. It is controlled by the Santa Fe through ownership of the entire capital stock. On the other hand, the records reviewed indicate that the company itself does not control any other common-carrier corporation. The property of the Minkler Southern Railway has always been operated under lease by the Santa Fe.

editThe Minkler Southern Railway was incorporated May 22, 1913, under the general laws of the State of California.
Development of Fixed Physical Property
editThe mileage owned by the Minkler Southern Railway, amounting to 50.662 miles, was constructed for its account by the Santa Fe during the years 1913 and 1914.
Leased Railway Property
