I know I have been away for a while so just checking are we still splitting oversized US catgeories in the following way?

Category:Midwestern United States geologic formation stubs

Category:NorthEastern United States geologic formation stubs

Category:Southern United States geologic formation stubs

Category:Western United States geologic formation stubs

A few templates I found that are over the 60 thresh-hold, I propose the relevant categories

{{Russia-judo-bio-stub}} - Category:Russian judo biography stubs

{{France-wrestling-bio-stub}} - Category:French sport wrestler stubs

also the templates that would upmerge to Category:Nicaraguan sportspeople stubs have a total of 60 so propose that as well

Finally with the Nicaragua category above that just leaves Belize in Central America with out the appropriate category, given the dispersal of these articles I propose we add this category, despite it not reaching 60 just to tidy it up a bit.

ono my travels I have found these sport related template/categories would help reduce large (not oversized) categories or tidy up others.

{{Germany-cycling-Olympic-medalist-stub}} - Category:German canoe Olympic medalist stubs (should this be canoeing?

{{Acrobatic-gymnastics-bio-stub}} - Category:Acrobatic gymnastics biography stubs.

Hope no one minds, that i lobbed these in one proposal

Category:Nigeria geography stubs is already large in size. And since the stub template for Rivers State locations exists, I propose the creation of Category:Rivers State geography stubs. There are about 60 articles on places in the state. Stanleytux (talk) 21:00, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Rename {{Paralympics-stub}}

Given that the medalists are at {{Paralympic-medalist-stub}} and all the Olympics categories use {{Olympic-stub}} Before I complete my earlier proposal on splitting this I propse we rename this {{Paralympic-stub}} and then the proposal below follows suit. Just incase anyone hasn't followed I am proposing going from plural to singular. 1930s film stubs split

currently third largest stub category. The main split of the non stub parent seems to be by nation so I propose the following which catscan suggests would be large enough.

Category:Geologic formations of Norway stubs - {{Norway-geologic-formation-stub}}

Category:Geologic formations of Canada stubs - {{Canada-geologic-formation-stub}}

Category:Geologic formations of the United Kingdom stubs - {{UK-geologic-formation-stub}}

Category:Geologic formations of the United States stubs - {{US-geologic-formation-stub}}

as the US category would take over half of these, I propose templates for each state and subcategories for any state that reaches 60 along the lines of

Category:Geologic formations of Texas stubs - {{Texas-geologic-formation-stub}}

Category:Mexican politician stubs

Fifth largest stub type, 2525 articles, and with no previous split. With other countries we have gone by geographic region represented (not very often given), parliment (vast majority are from the chamber of deputies) or party. I suggest a split by party similar to Germany and France if memory serves, this would give us

Categrory is large so I would like to prose a split similar to the Olympics stubs so we would have a separate category for Category:Winter Paralympics stubs populated by {{Winter-Paralympics-stub}} and {{2014-winter-Paralympics-stub}}, {{2010-winter-Paralympics-stub}} etc with categories along the lines of Category:2014 Winter Paralympics stubs for any template that reaches 60. Also

This 2012 Summer Paralympics-related article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.
