Keep Olympic fencer and shooter [2] needs expansion --Natet/c 09:32, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Merge to Bujinkan or Ninjutsu; currently one line with little info & no sources, Possibly a transwiki.
AFD Can find no independent reliable sources on him. No record of him in the Olympics or winning a world championship. The article's only link doesn't work. Papaursa (talk) 13:59, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
2nd AfD did a search on the site I found the other two others on & no mention [3][dead link] --Natet/c 14:42, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Currently a dab page but could be expanded later.
AFD No reliable sources or claim of notability. Clearly fails WP:MANOTE. Papaursa (talk) 01:01, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep He is widely regarded as being, as one person put it, "the person who brought kung fu to the secular world." I couldn't find reliable sourcing with a quick look, but his name is so widely mentioned in Chinese martial arts circles that I believe those sources exist. I believe this is another article that needs sourcing, not deletion. Papaursa (talk) 18:21, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep I can find no mention of his world record at the FITA website, but he has competed at the World Championships. In his event he was 33rd in 2009, 9th at the indoor event in 2007, 18th at the outdoor event in 2005, and 2nd in 2003. At one point he was ranked #1 in the world by FITA. Papaursa (talk) 01:17, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Weak AFD I corrected the information in the article. He had 2 good placings in the European judo championships--2nd in 1969 and 3rd in 1970. I don't think that's quite enough to pass WP:Athlete, but others may feel differently. Papaursa (talk) 13:59, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AFD Couldn't find reliable sourcing. Papaursa (talk) 01:01, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
comment There are many of these for sale, so I suppose they are notable. Would a dictionary definition be better than an article? jmcw (talk) 11:21, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Delete I found a blatant copyright violation as I was searching for sources. jmcw (talk) 11:21, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Afd To Do edit

Recommendation:AFD Unable to find third party reliable sources about this organization. Papaursa (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • This article has a serious COI issue. It might squeak by WPMANOTE if everything in the article were true, but the lack of significant coverage by third parties is a problem. Niteshift36 (talk) 04:56, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Recommendation:AFD As discussed at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Martial_arts I was unable to find third party reliable sources about this style. Papaursa (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge all 3 articles then AFD This style is the borderline of notability. jmcw (talk) 15:45, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Best just do a group AfD then rather than the effort of merging. --Natet/c 16:42, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • See above.....lot's of COI and little in the way of third party signifigance. I'd support the AfD. Niteshift36 (talk) 04:56, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
