I am again and again re-submitting an article but it is getting declined and I am also not getting what to change.

- @RK808311 You are being told what to change, or what is required for a draft to be accepted as an article. In your draft, the paragraph in the box, just under "Submission declined on 27 August 2022 by Dan arndt" has words in blue. These are clickable links. Please read what each blue link leads you to. Also, the COMMENT just below the box mentions NBOOK, also in blue, and the phrase "fails NBOOK" means that the draft doesn't meet the criteria listed at the NBOOK link.
- Well, I see the draft was rejected. Anyway, now you know how to interpret a decline or rejection notice. 71.228.112.175 (talk) 10:44, 28 August 2022 (UTC)

editI am again and again re-submitting an article but no one is telling me a clear reason. I just change every mistake. This is my first article too. Please tell me clear steps from which I will be able to publish my page. And I am not at all promoting the book, just telling about the book. RK808311 (talk) 09:26, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- I'm afraid there isn't anything you can change, your book fails the criteria at WP:NBOOK and has been rejected, Wikipedia is not a venue for promoting yourself. Theroadislong (talk) 09:30, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- @RK808311 I put some info just above, in your previous request, if it will help in the future. 71.228.112.175 (talk) 10:47, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- RK808311 "Just telling about the book" is the definition of promotion. 331dot (talk) 15:58, 28 August 2022 (UTC)

I would really like to know how to solve this issue or "Reliable sources". I am citing 2 Major Lebanese newspapers, that are more than reliable, plus the very famous Lebanese archive center where all the composer's works are safely archived, plus the website of the Lebanese government where the composer's decoration can be checked. Please keep in mind that he has been quite forgotten from the Lebanese musical scene since the civil war and I am doing my best to find good modern articles that mention his works. May I know how you decided that L'orient le jour and l'Agenda Culturel and Le Centre du Patrimoine Musical Libanais, are NOT reliable sources? Sorry for the inconvenience and many thanks in advance for your cooperative help.

- I don't think anyone is saying that none of the sources cited are reliable. But some of them aren't, namely Facebook and Discogs, possibly also the IMSLP wiki as well as the subject's own autobio.
- Also, since you provide no inline citations, it's impossible to tell which source supports what statement, and how much of the information is left unsupported. Please see WP:REFB for advice on referencing, and try to provide inline cites in the usual manner, to make the reviewers' (and later, readers') job a bit easier. I am trying to publish an entry on Jon Balserak. The examples I am using from wikipedia are:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Huijgen https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Gethin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Helm
These do not provide much in the way of references, but it is clear they provide some references and when reading the entry, they make it clear this is someone who is worth knowing about. So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
- @BRothchild: All three of those articles should be deleted or heavily edited (None of them were drafted and one of them predates the drafting process altogether). Your only reference is unacceptable for notability even if it were properly cited; interviews with a subject do not count or notability because the subject had a direct hand in it. What we're looking for is in-depth, non-routine, independent news/scholarly articles about him written by identifiable authors and subjected to rigourous fact-checking. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 20:29, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Very helpful, thanks! BRothchild (talk) 21:11, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
