FloridaArmy (talk) 06:40, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FloridaArmy You don't ask a question; I see that your draft was rejected, although state legislators are considered notable. This is likely because your draft only has two reliable sources; most reviewers look for at least three. You'll need to discuss this with the reviewer directly. 331dot (talk) 06:59, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why this article about Mr. Lenny Balkissoon was rejected again. I have taken out all subjective qualifiers. All the points are verifiable in either a published independent newspaper article or a published book. Mr. Lenny Balkissoon is a notable figure in Amsterdam. His projects encompass large monuments known to the city of Amsterdam and is involved in several city-related activities.

GigGama (talk) 08:37, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It reads nothing like an an encyclopaedia article, and absolutely nothing there to suggest that the topic is notable. Theroadislong (talk) 08:40, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please be more specific about which sources in this submission are not adequately supported since they are real website of reputable sources or wikipedia itself. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

17:35:36, 9 May 2021 review of draft by Mredwin

edit

I drafted the piece 3 months ago and immediately it was reviewed and declined. Since then I have made the requested changes and a few more edits however there has not been another review. I accept it could take 5 months or more but wonder if the fact that it was declined once means it is simply rejected and will not be reviewed . Please advise me on whether I should carry on being patient or need to start out from the beginning again. Thanks for your time.

Mredwin (talk) 17:35, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mredwin. There is no need to fear that it will not be reviewed. If it had been rejected (which is final), the draft would say so, and you would not have been able to resubmit it. Instead it says it was declined (which allows improvement and re-submission). You re-submitted it, and it is in the pool to be reviewed. As you note, the current backlog is between 5 and 6 months. If you're puzzled by how soon the first review took place, some reviewers choose to target the most recently submitted drafts, particularly those that have such obvious faults that they can be declined quickly.
While you wait, you are welcome to continue refining the draft, or see the Wikipedia:Community portal for millions of other ways you can help improve the encyclopedia. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:35, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PriyanshJadhavMusic7 (talk) 17:48, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PriyanshJadhavMusic7 You don't ask a question, but Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves. We are interested in what independent reliable sources have chosen on their own to say about you, not what you want to say about yourself, showing how you meet Wikipedia's special definition of a notable musician or notable person. 331dot (talk) 17:57, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I drafted the piece a few weeks ago and immediately it was reviewed and declined.

I've made the requesed changes and sourced material. I have shown many references but there hasn't been another review. I was wondering whether this means I need to start again or whether I just need to wait

The draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. It does not demonstrate that the person meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable singer. 331dot (talk) 18:47, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

19:50:44, 9 May 2021 review of submission by Cormarer

edit

I am a little bit confused and I need help

  1. I wrote my draft in my sandbox and I clicked submit
  2. I was informed that I was in the review queue
  3. Later I went back and I corrected a minor thing
  4. I saw "Submission declined" "This appears to be a duplicate of another submission, Alessandro Grego, which is also waiting to be reviewed. To save time we will consider the other submission and not this one."
  5. I do not understand. I did not made another submission and the page reported as " another submission" seems to lead to an empty draft: this page.

What should I do? Resubmit? Copy and paste my draft wikicode in the "other" empty draft?

Peraphs I should have not submitted my sandbox but the page at "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Alessandro_Grego"? I am confused Thank you --Cormarer (talk) 19:50, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cormarer (talk) 19:50, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Cormarer Well I do not understand exactly what happened but what I can tell you is that the draft Draft:Alessandro Grego is already submitted for a review, you seem to be the creator of the draft, so in my humble opinion there is no need to do anything at all for you right now. CommanderWaterford (talk) 18:24, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, yesterday the draft was empty, now it has been popolated with my text that was in the sandbox. Whatever happened I think it is now resolved! Thanks a lot. --Cormarer (talk) 21:03, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
