I would like to clarify few things here about this article

1. I found the reason mentioned for rejection as "Blatant self promotion created by the subject himself." which is totally wrong , as the subject himself is dead and no more , and there is nothing here to promote or gain financial or marketing or monetory benefit out of the subject or subject himself.

2 . This article was created by me ( Son of the Subject), the reason for confusion is that my name resembles similar to my father(Subject) as my father's name is my surname ( Last Name) and the first name is my grandfather's name which is the surname of my father . So it was misinterpreted or misunderstood that the subject is praising himself .

3. I (Author of the article) would like to reiterate that there is no reason for me to gain any benefit here , Its purely the facts/publications collected on behalf of my father and his research and contribution to the field of Mathematics . I have just listed and organized in a way without adding any praising or peacock words on the subject .

I have taken all measures to write the article neurally without praising the subject in any way and just menetioned his work on the facts collected from various reliable sources.
In case , if you think that there is some praising words about the subject anywhere in the article , Kindly mention those lines if any, I will completely remove those words. Please don't reject for that reason . Please advise.

Kindly consider and re-review the article and allow to publish.

Appreciate your help!

Hi Neelkanth99. Thank you for clarifying the nature of your conflict of interest with the subject.
It is important that articles are factual and neutral, but those are not sufficient conditions.
Wikipedia does not aim to have an article about every professor, only those who are notable, whose work has had a significant impact. Although reviewer Robert McClenon's wrote, "The subject probably does satisfy academic notability", I don't see how. Sthanumoorthy's most widely cited work is his book, but Google Scholar shows only 5 citations of it, which is neglible in the field of mathematics. What criterion of academic notability do you think he meets? Maybe I'm missing something, but I think reviewer Nightenbelle was correct to reject the draft on the grounds that the "topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia," even if their accompanying comment about "by the subject himself" was off the mark. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:37, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, User:Worldbruce and User:Nightenbelle - Based on what User:Neelkanth99 says, there is a conflict of interest, just as we had asked them to declare, and as they did not declare. A member of the family of the subject still has a conflict of interest. There is really nothing that the Original Poster can do now. If a neutral editor wants to follow up, they can, otherwise nothing will happen. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:57, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have eddited the page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:UArchitects) , and took out the awards sections that was too promotional I would like to know if these changes make it possible to Publish this page.

There is nothing there to suggest that they pass WP:NCORP? Theroadislong (talk) 09:19, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I created a draft article for a company in the private financing industry. I followed the wiki regulations, declared that I am indeed an employee there, tried to be objective, did not use any "big words". I don't mind someone else editing it or contributing or anything like this, I added external references etc. but the article got rejected immediately. Literally immediately. Please do instruct me if I need to do something more or haven't done something. I just can't see the reason why it will get rejected. Jointbank (talk) 09:32, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jointbank: the current draft fails to establish how this subject meets WP:NCORP. Victor Schmidt mobil (talk) 10:26, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re an article called Campus Free Speech Legislation Hi, recently i submitted an article for review and they deleted the article immediately citing plagiarism because I cited an article in many paragraphs. My article used many sources but this article I cited talked about many of the concepts I elaborated on but in lesser detail. I understood when I submitted the article that this wasn't going live but the review process could take like two months. Why did my article get deleted and how can I get it back. I had made a number of additions to the article I submitted which aren't on the version in my sandbox. I'd also like this article reviewed by someone else who wont just delete it but will let me know how I can improve it. It took along time to write and has a lot of important information. What do I do now just submit a new article? I don't want to tick anyone off?

Laxfri (talk) 13:55, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Laxfri. Draft:Campus Free Speech Laws was deleted not because it cited an article in many paragraphs, but because it copied a copyrighted article, to wit https://www.aaup.org/report/campus-free-speech-legislation-history-progress-and-problems, with no credible assertion of public domain, fair use, or a compatible free license. And the copying was so extensive that the removal of the violating material would have left no content on the page worth saving. I've left more information about copyrights on your talk page. If you believe the deleting administrator deleted the page in error, contact them (you can find their name and a link to their talk page in the pink box if you follow the red link for the deleted draft). Most likely you'll have to start over from scratch. It's quite common for each submission of a topic to be reviewed by a different reviewer, but if your second effort is also an unambiguous copyright infringement, any reviewer should immediately request its deletion. --Worldbruce (talk) 16:37, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have a partial draft which doesn't have all the detail of the other , how do I resubmit it? Ideally I need to have the original article with all of me editions which you deleted, can you help me get it back or look at the new draft, do I just resubmit it for review again?Laxfri (talk)

My first article was turned down because I don't have enough secondary sources. I can go start collecting sources, but if anyone can give me some specific tips as to where the article is weak I'd appreciate that so that I can tailor my search to those areas :-)
