Request on 00:09:11, 22 December 2017 for assistance on AfC submission by ACTLD Karen

edit

Hi Good day! This is Karen Divinagracia, Author, Editor and Marketing Coordinator, Auxlem Philippines. We have understood that our page "Auxlem Corporation" was rejected at this moment. Our Company is new in the Field of Digital Marketing and does not have many sources so far that is on (web). Only our Corporate Book and guidelines is our major source to publish our Page in Wikipedia. May I know the type of Sources that we can cite/use.

Best Regards Auxlem Philippines

Hi ACTLD Karen. If there are no third party sources, we cannot include the company. A "corporate book" is not an acceptable source. You do understand that this is an encyclopaedia, not a business directory? – Joe (talk) 01:05, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain Why my article by Avi Melamed was rejected?

Ddaviswestny (talk) 15:54, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Note: the draft was located here: Draft:Avi Melamed Matthew_hk tc 16:01, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ddaviswestny. The explanation is contained within the pink box at the top of Draft:Avi Melamed and the comment below it, information that is repeated in the mustard box on your talk page. In addition to the fact that the draft makes statements about a living person that are not backed up by inline citations, the draft fails to prove Melamed's notability. Generally things written by Melamed and brief quotes of Melamed (such as in The Washington Post) do not contribute to establishing his notability.
The lead suggests you believe his is notable as a "highly acclaimed independent Middle East strategic intelligence analyst." Study Wikipedia's notability guidelines and decide which criteria, if any, he meets, as demonstrated by reliable sources. Has someone published a book-length biography of him? Have multiple academic journals, newspapers, or magazines written about him in depth? Has he won a major award as a strategic intelligence analyst? Has he revolutionized strategic intelligence analysis in some way? Have his books been reviewed at length by professional book critics? ... --Worldbruce (talk) 02:12, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The page Reverie Holiday was declined because it did not have enough sources. This is a holiday our family created and now many people celebrate and request more info on, so I am kind of the only resource for this topic. Can this page be reconsidered based on this information?

Tspoppleton (talk) 16:48, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Tspoppleton: then the holiday Draft:Reverie Holiday is not notable to survive as an encyclopedic article. Matthew_hk tc 16:51, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
