Request on 09:12:32, 29 October 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by Foursy

Foursy (talk) 09:12, 29 October 2016 (UTC)I need help as my article didn't got accepted. I just want to know how could I improve my article so it will be accepted. Foursy (talk) 09:12, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First, there was initially a question over whether the market is the same as a market that we already have an article about. If, as it appears, they are different markets, then the draft contains too little information and has only one reference. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:31, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Want to really know what it means or refers to. Kd4lia (talk) 13:26, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What is your question? This is the only edit from your account. There is a hidden notation in your edit to this page that reads "Grill Infusion Cooker", but we do not have either an article on Grill Infusion Cooker or a draft on Draft:Grill Infusion Cooker. You made a test edit that said "Hello" and submitted it to AFC. It was declined. Do you have a question? Robert McClenon (talk) 21:37, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The draft was accepted and is Double Jeopardy (Scotland) Act 2011. The draft was accepted shortly before you posted here. Thank you for contributing it. What is the question? Robert McClenon (talk) 23:16, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! My article was declined because the references that I used were too locally based. I found some references from around the country. (Reference #1: http://www.ourlondon.ca/news-story/6759130-vaughan-seeking-nominations-for-new-order-of-vaughan-award/) Reference #2: http://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/vaughan-celebrates-25-years-598650791.html) Would this make the article eligible to be created? The article is located here: Draft:Order of Vaughan Jith12 (talk) 22:46, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jith12. Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. The two sources you've identified here don't seem to establish non-local coverage of the award -- one of them is an on-line republication of an item from the Vaughan Citizen and the other appears to be a press release from the city itself. You might consider putting a trimmed-down version of your submission in the article on Vaughan, ON, perhaps in the section on "Notable People".
