I wanted to know if I changed Gavin Becker Singer and Songwriter to Gavin Becker singer, songwriter and actor would my submission be accepted since he has had many articles mention him as an actor? His page was rejected because not enough has been published about him in the press and he hasn't won a major award. Gavin Becker has had more articles written about him if you combine his acting and singing career. I very much appreciate your help.

Hi Karibsouders. It's unlikely. The quantity of articles is less important than their depth and type. Of the sources the draft cites, two are primary source interviews - Becker publicizing Becker, and the rest are passing mentions with at most 2 sentences about him. One refers to him as up-and-coming, which is almost by definition a synonym for not-yet-notable. He may become notable as his career progresses, but I advise setting aside the draft until he's a bit closer to the John Gielgud end of the spectrum. --Worldbruce (talk) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
