16:47:48, 3 December 2016 review of submission by Rakesh.nmlindia

I have submitted above draft and it was declined. I feel that the page is important for scientific communities working in the areas specified (wish to clarify that there is no intended for any advertisement). In order to address reviewer's concern, will it be helpful if I connect the information with as many references/source as possible. If there is concern with the style, I would like if you may kindly recommend some prominent personalities' page which can be taken as an example and emulated (say, what about the online profile /Patcha_Ramachandra_Rao ?, former Director of the Lab where I work, i.e. CSIR-NML).I would greatly appreciate your kind help to make my draft publishable.

Hello, Rakesh. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. The best source of information as to why your submission was declined is the person who reviewed it. You can find that person's name and Talk page button at the top of your draft. But I took a look at your submission before posting here and found that I agree with the reviewer. Your draft is not written in an encyclopedic tone of voice. It also does not conform in several respects with our Manual of Style. In order to see what a properly-written article looks like, take a look at some of the top-quality articles produced by our Wiki Project on Engineering, such as Kenneth Nichols, Lowthian Bell, Vannevar Bush and Norman Selfe. But even when you re-write your submission to look more like these examples, you will still face the problem of demonstrating that the subject of your submission is "notable" in the sense that Wikipedia uses that word. Right now, the references in your article are largely just listings of the professor's publications. What you need are multiple references that discuss the subject himself in depth, and these references must be to publications that are reliable and independent of the professor. Until you can create an article that is based on these types of references, it is unlikely that your submission will be accepted. I hope this was helpful. I would like to know why my article on STEVE B.WEST was denied. It is a true story about a real living person who is a popular musician. He has been inducted into the Oregon Hall of Fame 2007 and articles about him are in Vintage Guitar 2015. He is a former original Raider with one of the all time popular rock n, roll groups of all time. He is on a few hit songs still playing today. People need to know about the life of this man. Other band members are in Wikipedia.

Please let me know,

Hello, IP address. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. I assume you are Christina, the creator of Draft:STEVE B. WEST. The best source of information as to why your submission was declined is the reviewer who looked at it. You can find that person's name and Talk page button at the top of your draft. But that reviewer already told you why it was declined -- your submission contains no references. I also note that your draft fails to conform with our Manual of Style in many respects. You can learn more about these requirements by reading WP:Your first article and WP:REFB (our introduction to proper referencing). But you face an even more fundamental difficulty here -- the subject of your draft is not "notable" in the sense that Wikipedia uses that word. Being a member of Paul Revere and the Raiders, but leaving the band before they became famous, is probably not enough to justify an article on West. In similar situations, the long-standing consensus at Wikipedia is to incorporate relevant biographical information into the article on the band, and not to try to have a stand-alone article on the musician. I encourage you to visit the Talk page of the article on Paul Revere & the Raiders and start a discussion about incorporating some of your research into that article.
