Just reporting that the page Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Abies balsamea seems copied from here. —Anne Delong (talk) 07:09, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! You're free (and even invited) to nominate copyright violations for speedy deletion yourself by adding the {{db-g12}} template to the very top of the page. There's no need to go through this help desk. Huon (talk) 15:19, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there noble wikipedians,

I am fairly new to this game.

I am trying to write an article:

Wikipedia talk: Articles for creation/Paul Wimbush

Lammas Ecovillage

I have had two rounds of feedback some time ago now and have rewritten the article in response.

With thanks,

Paul Wimbush (talk) 14:05, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unless I'm mistaken, you write about a topic you're closely associated with; you may want to have a look at our guideline on conflicts of interest. You also cite yourself, which is hardly an independent source on Lammas. The Independent and The Telegraph, on the other hand, are the kinds of sources we're after: Reliable, independent and covering the subject in quite some detail. I'm less impressed with the other sources: The County Council policy and the Welsh Government advice note are unlikely to even mention Lammas, and the documentary films are merely cited for their own existence, not for whatever they have to say about Lammas.
I've done some copyediting and re-added the old "decline" messages as a historical record; the lower one has instructions for re-submission for review ("When you are ready to resubmit, click here."). Huon (talk) 15:19, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou Huon - that's very helpful.

how do I insert an image on to the page waiting to be reviewed please? Thanks. Juniduke (talk) 21:07, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If the image is released under a free license such as the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License, you can upload the image to the Wikimedia Commons via their Upload Wizard. Once it's uploaded, the picture tutorial explains how to add an image to an article. Huon (talk) 21:29, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
