The article submission Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gregg Wayans has been declined for the reasons given in the pink box at the top of that page. (There is also a Comment on the page giving further information.) Please feel free to continue to improve the article in accordance with this advice, and then resubmit it when ready. Dear Sir or Madam,

Hello, I recently had an article turned down (User talk:K454R1), and I was curious what I could do better to get it submitted properly. I used material from his website and I also used articles that I found. I am curious if it was a matter of citation. Thank you very much for your time and concern.

Sincerely, K454R1 (talk) 07:01, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission User:K454R1/John Berman contained references only to CNN. Since Berman works for CNN, that is not an independent source. Submissions require references showing significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources as described in Wikipedia:VRS. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:52, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I have followed your advice and did some revising on my new aforementioned declined article User:K454R1/John Berman. Could it now be considered an official Wikipedia article?? If not, what else can I do to it?? Thank you so much for your time and concern. K454R1 (talk) 14:39, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I'm just wondering whether you can review https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Mudah.my again or at least put it under the list for review as I've made changes to the article.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.142.41.211 (talk) 11:46, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is already a page of a Fijian Politician by the name of 'Satendra Singh'. Another draft of 'Satendra Singh' an Indian doctor has been placed but how to create a seprate page with same title?

Calipergirl (talk) 12:18, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It seems your article has been accepted and moved into the main encyclopaedia as Satendra Singh (doctor). If you have managed to submit an article to the AfC process about a person with the same name as someone else, you can let the reviewer worry about the page naming. Usually when there is more than one person or thing with the same name we put something in brackets at the end of the title of the second and third articles. We have submitted a unique article which is not on Wiki.

I chose the wrong title.

I then re-named the title, which is not on wiki to: Economics of Finance

Can you explain why this was not accepted, I have already submitted this with the name change and it came back with the old title.

This is the link to our article, with the name Economics_of_Finance which is not on wiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Economics_of_Finance — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jim-A-Smith (talkcontribs) 15:55, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

All the incorrect titles now redirect to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Economics of Finance; so all is well on that front. The submission has been declined because Wikipedia already has several finance related articles that basically cover everything you have written. Wikipedia does not reproduce articles on subjects which are already covered. If you would like to make changes to the existing finance related articles, just go ahead and make those changes, but consider that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a place for publishing your personal essays/thoughts on any particular subject. Anyone can edit existing Wikipedia articles, but please read WP:5P first. Bellerophon talk to me 17:04, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We understand and acknowledge that there is already a wealth of information on economics and finance and this reflects the capacious nature of the subject matter. However we respectfully suggest that there is scant coverage on the real world application of business finance and personal finance within an economic framework which is what we have covered in our submission. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jim-A-Smith (talkcontribs) 10:42, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone help me write this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.254.162.1 (talk) 20:39, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody?

Our software has been written about in several publications, but I'm up for deletion. Can someone help me with how I might be able to keep the submission without deletion?Captgary (talk) 23:17, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest finding independent reliable sources that talk about the system (the links on the deletion discussion page may help with this), and then mentioning them on the deletion discussion page that you have been given the link to.
