You may want to look >here< first, but you may create your own article at Wikipedia:Starting an article or request an article at Wikipedia:Requested articles    :- ) DCS 04:35, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The submission lacks reliable sources that mention the film by name. Pol430 talk to me 20:49, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, did not realize that was an actual submission.  My bad.    :- ) DCS 21:10, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page is for help related to the Articles for Creation process. You might try requested articles instead. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 13:13, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trying to promote the Arrow brand I am simply trying create a consistent story on how the Arrow brand evolved. Now on the PVH Wiki page you can see how each brand owned by the company is linked to their individual Wiki page i.e. Izod, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger but Arrow is linked to "The Arrow Collar Man" Wiki which is inconsistent with the rest of the brands. I'm trying to correct this please advise.

The article reads like an advertisement- i.e. not from a neutral point of view. Examples:
  1. "With a broad assortment of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and apparel-related products, ARROW’s deep heritage, superior quality, and original designs offer customers a refined and relevant product." is vague, unreferenced, and promotional.
  2. Where does "As the inspiration of the Broadway play “Helen of Troy,” the Arrow Collar Man was a symbol of solidarity and dignity, and the recipient of fan mail and marriage proposals." come from and is it neutral?
  3. The entire Product section is unreferenced and sounds promotional.
  4. Again, "ARROW is committed to manufacturing quality products that are fashionable and affordable. The success of the ARROW brand can be attributed to its name recognition and attention to detail. Through research and development, ARROW focuses on the needs of the consumer, resulting in high brand awareness and customer loyalty." is unreferenced and sounds promotional.
  5. Various peacock terms: "a refined and relevant product", "a broad assortment of apparel that embodies classic American fashion", "refined, structured, and tailored for comfort but with a liberated attitude", "a durable product at an exceptional value", "innovative point-of-sale displays", "fashionable and affordable", and et cetera.
Additionally, is there enough notability here to justify a spinoff article from the existing article at Cluett Peabody & Company? A412 (TalkC) 23:22, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How can I add inline references? The edit button only shows me the references.

Hi everyone/anyone who reads this,

I've been working on this article for a while and at this stage I'm having trouble seeing what I could improve to get it approved. I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me by looking this over and give me a few pointers on what I should do to get it approved.

Thanks!

I would just say try to add more sources independent of the topic, maybe a mention in a local newspaper or magazine. It is getting there (50/50), but I think it needs to prove to others that it has received significant coverage. Hope this helps. Kinkreet~♥moshi moshi♥~ 09:20, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
