  • delete both. Well meant but never saw any use outside their own creators, so offer no benefits over the above mentioned and are unnecessary forks of them.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 04:36, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Used in only one article without any good reason at this time. Should be substed and deleted. Izno (talk) 02:13, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment There's actually dozens of schedule templates that are used in only 1 article. See Category:Sports schedule templates. --Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:46, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I plan to work on the rest of the swimming ones this weekend. I'll make the rest a continuing project. :) --Izno (talk) 14:20, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nominator....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 19:19, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • substitute and delete as suggested. we don't need to keep these in separate templates. Frietjes (talk) 17:17, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Why swimming only? Have you ever seen schedule templates in other Olympic sports? Raymarcbadz (talk) 14:55, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • did you read the comments above yours? Frietjes (talk) 21:17, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • Yes, I already read the comments. I’m just curious about the swimming templates being deleted unlike other sports. What will happen if the templates are deleted? Btw, Izno, why did you remove the styles I made before? Are they too small for you? Raymarcbadz (talk) 11:58, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The templates will first be substituted and then deleted, after this discussion is finished and closed in a couple days. It's a process that basically copies the template onto the page where it is used. The swimming ones were nominated only because I worked on the swimming ones, and for no other reason. As I said above, the others will be a project. I reverted your changes to the templates for a few reasons.
        1. My changes introduce WP:TemplateStyles, which are a way to make our templates more accessible, among other things. You can see this in how much cleaner the wikitext of the tables are now. If you want some help understanding, I am happy to explain further elsewhere.
        2. Yes, the tables (the text-size particularly) were too small. Generally, you should avoid setting text size, anywhere.
        3. There were other negative interactions, such as the one listed here, that were due to how the template was styled.
If you have other questions, please let me know. --Izno (talk) 17:37, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Substitute and delete all the single-use schedule templates. -- Jonel (Speak to me) 09:14, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
