Keep Template links five articles. Many of the articles do not link to one another without the navbox in place. Husky has several chart topping hits.--Jax 0677 (talk) 00:18, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Contrare...the template has had 5 or more links since the beginning. "Country Music is Here to Stay" makes 6.--Jax 0677 (talk) 03:45, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I count 5 albums, which is obviously still fine here, but I don't think you count the main topic. Per NENAN: There should five singles or albums for a music article (in this case the music article is the artist); five products by a common company (company would be linked as the main topic); five members of a common group such as a band (band would be linked as the main topic). That's how I read it anyway. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 21:55, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - When the burden of proof is not met, the status quo prevails. Note also that the article says "For instance", "A good, but not set-in-stone rule to follow is the rule of five" and "Are there presently at least five articles on which your navbox will be used". Besides, navboxes are designed to ease transition between articles, which this does, because without the navbox, the albums do not all link to one another. Thanks. Any other points of debate requiring discussion?--Jax 0677 (talk) 13:02, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Then fix the internal linking instead of producing a dodgy template. The Banner talk 11:41, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - With a band like Pigface, it would be a lot of work to list and link all of the dozens of band members and albums inside the readable prose text of every article. This is why we have navboxes. The articles did not link to each other without the navbox either. Additionally, some articles get so long that trying to find the link within the article can prove difficult at best. If something is wrong, WP:SOFIXIT. Now the navbox has 8 links. Template:Toys in the Attic (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

All but one of the linked songs in these are already satified by {{Aerosmith singles}}, and the one that does has questionable notability. Plenty of recent precedent that such navboxes are not needed when other artist navboxes already exist. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 16:18, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template:North African Cup of Cup Champions Seasons (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Unused. Note that the template name is quite misleading: the template actually contains links to the 2007/08 seasons of the CAF member leagues, and hence it is redundant to {{2007 in African football (CAF)}} and {{2008 in African football (CAF)}}. Note that this is not {{North African Cup of Champions Seasons}}, which actually is a list of North African Cup of Champions seasons. DH85868993 (talk) 12:39, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Track list templates were seemingly created for nearly every Supremes studio album, but these six are unused simply because either none of the songs from the respective album have articles or the ones that do have articles are cover versions that aren't notable as Supremes songs. Template:The Times They Are a-Changin' (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

There are two quite similar templates for each of these albums which navigate to and are transcluded in the same exact articles. The other templates are track list templates, such as {{Blonde on Blonde tracks}} and {{Highway 61 Revisited tracks}}. Outside of location, they serve the same function so, really, only one of each needs to exist. I'm nominating the navboxes because 1) similar ones have been deleted in previous TfDs and 2) track list templates exist for other Dylan albums that don't have a complete set of articles for each song and, thus, no navbox at all. All are categorized under Category:Bob Dylan album templates. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 07:21, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
